Gift Certificates
Gift certificates or gift cards are available at Sheer Designs. It does not expire for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Michigan law.
For the best experience, we recommend redeeming within one (1) year of purchase. After one year, the certificate remains valid for the remaining balance until the full 5-year period has passed.
No Reminder Policy
- To maintain a respectful and streamlined scheduling process, we will no longer be sending appointment reminders via phone call or text message.
- It is the client's responsibility to remember the date and time of their scheduled appointment.
- If we need to reschedule, close unexpectedly or make changes to your appointment we will contact you directly.
Booking Policy
All appointments can be scheduled up to 2 months in advance.
Cancellation Policy
- 24-hour notice is required.
- Late cancellations and no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the missed service.
- 50% Deposits will be required to secure your appointment after a missed appointment. This deposit will go towards your scheduled service total and is non-refundable.
- No shows will be responsible for 100% of their missed appointment and will be required to pay an additional 50% booking fee for their next service to be scheduled.
Late & Early Arrivals
- If you arrive more than 15 min late, your appointment will be charged as a "No Show" (see cancellation policy)
- If you are running late, call as soon as possible, we may need to reschedule your appointment, or you may only get a partial service done.
- Please arrive no more than 15 minutes early to your scheduled appointment time. This can disrupt a current client's appointment or preparation time between clients.
Health & Sickness Policy
- If you are feeling sick or have been sick within the past 24 hours, please call to cancel your appointment.
- If you arrive visibly ill, Sheer Designs reserves the right to reschedule your appointment.
- There will be no fee added to your service for cancelling due to illness.
Payment Policy
We accept: Cash, Check or Credit Card
Checks made payable to SHEER DESIGNS (insufficient funds fee $35)
Client Behavior Policy
- Respectful behavior is expected at all times. Inappropriate comments, gestures, or behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of future services. The customer will be charged for a full visit.
- Our therapist/stylist has the right to end the session/scheduled appointment at any time if they feel unsafe or disrespected.
- Sheer Designs reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is under the influence or violates any of our policies.
